Special Issues

Special Issues of the International Journal of Pharmaceuticals and Health Care Research (IJPHR) provide focused collections of scholarly articles addressing important, emerging or rapidly developing topics within the journal's aims and scope.

A Special Issue is developed around a clearly defined scientific theme and may be coordinated by one or more Guest Editors with relevant subject expertise.

Special Issue Proposals

Proposals should clearly define the scientific theme, relevance to IJPHR, proposed scope, anticipated article types and the qualifications of the proposed Guest Editor or editorial team.

Approval of a Special Issue proposal does not guarantee acceptance of individual manuscripts.

Peer Review and Editorial Independence

Manuscripts submitted to a Special Issue are subject to the same editorial screening, research-integrity requirements and peer-review standards applied to regular IJPHR submissions.

Guest Editors may coordinate the scientific evaluation of manuscripts within the Special Issue, but editorial decisions must remain independent and based on scientific merit, methodological quality, ethical compliance and relevance.

Where a Guest Editor has a conflict of interest concerning a manuscript, responsibility for that submission should be transferred to an appropriate independent editor.

Publication Ethics

Special Issue manuscripts must comply with IJPHR policies concerning authorship, competing interests, plagiarism, research ethics, data availability, artificial intelligence, corrections and research misconduct.
