Authors, reviewers and readers may raise substantive concerns regarding editorial procedures, peer review, publication ethics or journal administration.

Appeals

An appeal against an editorial decision should provide a clear scientific or procedural justification rather than simply expressing disagreement with the decision.

Where appropriate, an appeal may be evaluated by an editor not directly responsible for the original decision.

Complaints

Complaints should provide sufficient information for the matter to be evaluated fairly.

The journal aims to consider legitimate complaints confidentially, impartially and without retaliation against individuals raising concerns in good faith.
