Artificial Intelligence Policy
Authors should disclose material use of generative artificial intelligence or AI-assisted technologies when such tools have contributed substantially to manuscript preparation, data processing, analysis, coding, image generation or another substantive component of the work.
Artificial intelligence systems and large language models cannot be listed as authors.
Human authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, integrity, references and scientific validity of submitted material.
AI-generated references and factual claims must be independently verified.
Reviewers and editors should not upload confidential manuscript content into external AI services where doing so could compromise confidentiality, intellectual property, participant privacy or protected research information.
